Seven female NTT leaders recognized on CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel list

Debbie Anders, Mechelle Buys Du Plessis, Tanya Edmonds, Muna Khurshid, Media Landry, Eleanor Nel and Shanley Stern recognized for their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the technology industry

This annual list recognizes the unique strengths, vision and achievements of female leaders in the IT channel and technology industry.

The women honored on this year’s list pushed forward with comprehensive business plans, marketing initiatives and other innovative ideas to support their customers and partners as the world navigated the uncertainty brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. Honorees were carefully selected by the CRN editorial team for their continued contributions to the technology industry, thought leadership and overall contributions to their business and the industry.

Debbie Anders, Vice President, Strategic Alliances, Americas

Debbie leads a team responsible for managing NTT Ltd.’s largest partnerships in the Americas, and incubating development partners to differentiate NTT in the changing technology market. Her ambition to establish mutually beneficial relationships between NTT and its strategic partner community is the cornerstone of her mission.

Mechelle Buys Du Plessis, Vice President, Sales Transformation and Operations, Americas

Mechelle is a veteran of the IT industry with a rich history in both technology and technology services. She started her career in South Africa and has since lived and work on four continents. Before working in the United States, she was responsible for the Middle East territory where she was the Managing Director. Her cross functional expertise in sales, services, marketing, management and transformation brings significant benefit to her clients, colleagues and coworkers.

Tanya Edmonds, Director, Talent Acquisition; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lead, Americas

Tanya is responsible for the design and implementation of talent acquisition strategies and initiatives in areas such as employer branding, workforce planning, process improvements, standardization and optimization. She also serves as the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Lead for the Americas, with a mission to foster, cultivate and preserve a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Muna Khurshid, Vice President, Solution Architecture, Americas

Muna leads the Pre-Sales Solutions team for NTT Ltd. Americas and is recognized for her creative thinking, bold initiatives and for bringing cross-functional teams together to deliver results. She is a strategic and adaptable leader with a diverse technical and business background. She holds a Master of Engineering degree and is a gifted communicator and trusted advisor with a proven record of building and developing strong, diverse and high performing teams. Her key strengths include driving change, and building strategic relationships with her clients, partners and teams.

Media Landry, Area Vice President Sales, Security, Americas

Media is a highly successful cybersecurity sales leader selling highly complex services-based solutions to clients worldwide. She is results-oriented, passionate about solving her client’s security business goals and building and cultivating high performing sales teams. She has proven to be adaptive to changing landscapes by targeting growth areas and developing strategic selling models that evolve with her clients’ needs, and her work consistently results in winning situations for clients, partners and NTT.

Eleanor Nel, Vice President, Engagement Services, Americas

Eleanor has vast management experience within global entities working on high-profile, large-scale strategic and transformation programs. She thrives within innovative environments where change and adaptation are the key drivers, and she has a demonstrated expertise in executing, managing and delivering programs across multi-sector industries such as the Retail, Mining, Finance, Government, Telecommunications, and Technology. Having worked in South Africa and the U.S., she also a proven understanding of how to work effectively on an international level.

Shanley Stern, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Americas

Shanley is responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution, including lead generation across both digital and events, brand awareness and corporate communications. She significant experience in the IT sector, with a proven track record of successfully executing multi-level strategies in rapid growth environments, along with a deep expertise in partnering across organizations and bringing programs to life with a passion for distilling complex concepts into a clear executable plan. She is known by her colleagues and industry peers and as a high-energy individual with a reputation as a change agent.
