With 12,800m² of data center server space in the first building (25,600m² of data center server space once fully built out) and 32MW of critical IT load (64MW of critical IT load once fully built out), our London 1 Data Center, located in Dagenham, joins the existing data centers we currently operate in Hemel Hempstead and Slough.

The redundant water-cooled system is supported by free-cooling (N+1). Data halls use a compressorless cooling system, designed for superior energy efficiency and performance.

Security

24/7 Security Operations Center and Service Control Center, standardized security processes and the multilevel security zone principle and CCTV covering the external perimeter, plant areas and data halls.

Why Dagenham

Dagenham, located in east London, is within easy reach of the Docklands, which is established as the UK’s internet hub and backbone for the global internet network that facilitates the majority of the London Internet Exchange's (LINX) infrastructure. Dagenham is also well situated for Shoreditch, which has recently become known as the ‘Silicon Roundabout,’ as many technology companies and start-ups reside in the area.
