Expand your horizons and immerse yourself in the next wave of transformative technologies. That’s the call to action for Cisco Live 2025 Amsterdam, the first edition this year of Cisco’s premier technology event series that unites industry leaders, innovators and experts from around the world.

For NTT DATA, being part of this event is far more than a routine engagement. As a leading global IT services and consulting company, we see it as a strategic imperative. We have to be at the forefront of technological advances and industry trends, and Cisco Live is a unique platform to help us achieve this.

In 2024, we were awarded Global Enterprise Partner of the Year at the Cisco Partner Summit as well as EMEA Partner of the Year in Asia-Pacific, in addition to awards for our networking, security, collaboration, data center and cloud infrastructure services.

So, how do we plan to expand Cisco Live attendees’ horizons this year? We have plenty to share on three exciting headline-grabbing topics: eSIMs, 5G and AI.

We’re teaming up with Cisco on eSIMs

Late last year, we announced that we had expanded our long-standing partnership with Cisco to improve secure, cost-effective wireless access and digital services for mobile workforces across 180 countries.

Until recently, connectivity has focused on connecting office environments through landlines. However, the advent of eSIMs means we’re now delivering network connectivity securely wherever it’s needed.

We’re using Cisco’s eSIM technology — initially embedded in Cisco infrastructure solutions — and our global Transatel network to provide a streamlined setup and management process for Cisco solutions. This makes it easier to launch secure mobile branches (offices or locations that rely on wireless connectivity) anywhere.

The expanded partnership addresses the growing demand for reliable and secure 5G connectivity in industries such as financial services, retail, hospitality and manufacturing. This connectivity is essential for the digital transformation of organizations.

NTT DATA’s strategic alliance with Cisco underscores our commitment to supporting innovation and our clients’ evolving technological needs, and this is the message we’ll convey at Cisco Live.

5G: a key NTT DATA service

As a global technology leader, we’re doing a lot with 5G beyond eSIMs. Our 5G services and solutions, including private 5G networks, are crucial for organizations and industries that want to leverage the latest in wireless technology. Applications include the real-time monitoring and control of production lines, telemedicine and efficient traffic management in smart cities.

5G networks offer significantly faster data speeds, lower latency and higher capacity than previous generations of mobile networks. We have the expertise to tailor these networks to specific business needs, set up the supporting infrastructure and integrate them with existing IT systems.

Our dedicated and scalable private 5G networks are designed for specific environments in industries like manufacturing, healthcare and logistics where business-critical applications rely on consistent connectivity. Again, security is paramount to protect sensitive data and operations in these sectors.

AI for the win

Right now, you can’t read anything about technology without coming across a reference to AI. NTT DATA’s GenAI solutions are now helping our clients in numerous ways, but we’ve been using AI for a long time to improve our products and services.

For example, in network management, we use AI algorithms to continuously monitor network performance and detect anomalies that could indicate cyberattacks or other issues to address. This also leads to automated, AI-enabled incident responses.

With deep, AI-driven insights into network performance, we help our clients make data-driven decisions based on trends and patterns in their network usage. A secure, optimized network reduces operational costs and consumes power more efficiently.

At Cisco Live, Roberto Fasiani, NTT DATA’s Vice President of Go-to-Market Software and Support Services in Europe, will deliver a presentation on AI-powered asset lifecycle management to highlight how we’re using AI to revolutionize license and software asset management. He’ll be on stage on 13 February.

A new era of connectivity

What do you get when you bring all these technologies together? Your organization ends up well-placed for success, as your workforce can connect reliably and securely from anywhere, with no need for landlines. And the innovation doesn’t stop at the point of connection that matters — thanks to AI, the rest of your network will also run like a well-oiled machine.

We’re connecting the world with eSIMs, secure networks and 5G, and Cisco Live is your chance to connect with us!
