NTT joins Microsoft Intelligent Security Association

21 June 2023

NTT has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors and managed security service providers who are integrating their solutions with Microsoft’s security technology.

The volume and severity of cyberthreats are rising around the world amid the adoption of hybrid working and an increasing number of digital transactions. Our new Managed Detection & Response (MDR) security service helps organizations achieve their business objectives by improving their cyber resilience.

The cloud-native, analytics-driven MDR service combines human and machine expertise with threat intelligence and leading technologies such as machine learning to reduce the time needed to detect and respond to cyberattacks.

The service hunts for suspicious activities and minimizes false positives, providing built-in orchestration and automation that allows our clients to respond to cybersecurity incidents rapidly and isolate threats remotely.

It is built on Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft’s leading next-generation security information and event management platform, powered by AI, automation and threat intelligence.

A strategic collaboration

At NTT, we are well-positioned to enhance our strategic collaboration with Microsoft, having also earned the esteemed Microsoft Azure Expert Managed Services Provider (MSP) status.

“We are proud to be a member of MISA and jointly help our clients stay ahead of cyberattacks by helping them adopt a strong security posture that will leave them more operationally and financially resilient, with a direct impact on workforce productivity and customer satisfaction,” says Naoyuki Inoue, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Security: Cloud Services Division at NTT.

Parri Munsell, Senior Director: Security Partner Marketing at Microsoft, says: “I am pleased to have NTT join us as a partner in MISA. By including our strategic managed security services providers in MISA, we help enable further collaboration between cybersecurity industry leaders in protecting and supporting our joint customers.”
