NTT implements Google's G Suite for WOM Finance in Indonesia to future-proof workplace collaboration

Move to a secure, digital workplace improves collaboration and communications

Singapore, 8 September 2020 – NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider, today announced the successful implementation of Google’s G Suite to help Wahana Ottomitra Multiartha Tbk (WOM Finance) realize the power of collaboration. As part of the implementation, NTT migrated over 1,000 employees from the legacy mail server to G Suite in a month, to accelerate employees’ access to cloud-based intelligent apps.

Prior to the implementation, WOM Finance was limited by their legacy mail server that was unable to scale to meet the needs of its growing business. Employees were also collaborating independently and using multiple communication applications without explicit IT department approval. To transform the way WOM Finance works, communicates and collaborates, NTT implemented G Suite, a unified platform to centralize information, resources and collaboration tools.

With the implementation of G Suite, employees can securely access files and applications in the cloud anytime, anywhere, from any device. Integration with business applications, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, enables real-time collaboration to improve employee efficiency. Google Meet and Chat also provide employees with a secure chat and video platform, allowing for better collaboration. As a result, WOM Finance now enjoys modern collaboration solutions, along with productivity gains.
