NTT deploys enterprise cloud platform to improve online banking experience in Indonesia

Estimated cost savings of USD 2 million from improved infrastructure each year Singapore – 20 February 2020 – NTT Ltd., a leading global technology services company, today announced the successful deployment of a private cloud stack with hybrid cloud capabilities to Indonesia’s leading digital banking platform. The 14 month project consists of building the digital infrastructure on the client’s premise and operationalizing the service solutions. To help the client increase visibility on customer-facing banking applications and minimize service downtime, NTT leveraged its expertise in digital transformation to facilitate the technology and service integration. A full suite of services across consulting, implementation, managed and cloud-based services were deployed.

The project commenced with a pilot infrastructure team from NTT providing consulting services to the client. A thorough review of the client’s capabilities and existing IT infrastructure was conducted before recommending the appropriate technology stack that will help address its business needs.

Scalable cloud service models such as Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), along with Automated Cloud Management (ACM) were implemented on the private cloud platform, to help the client develop services that will improve client satisfaction and retention across multiple digital channels.

The platform also combines compute, networking, storage, analytics and task automation to accelerate the roll-out of critical updates and meet increased service demands. Highly skilled technicians also provide day-to-day support, security update, continuous monitoring and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure.

Supported by a robust CDM (Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation) dashboard, the client is empowered with real-time monitoring of the activities and applications in their network to ensure customers enjoy an optimal banking experience. Analytics also empowers the team to provides pro-active and real-time system monitoring to ensuring best customer experience and maintaining a reliable platform.

Following the successful deployment of a cloud platform, the client has witnessed significant improvements in time to market, reduction in downtime episodes as well as increased talent and client retention. Cost savings are estimated to be more than USD 2 million per year.
