NTT becomes first in APAC to obtain three Cisco Master Specializations

NTT in Australia obtains specializations in Networking, Collaboration and Security

Sydney, Australia — 1 July 2020 – NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider, has been confirmed as the first company in APAC to obtain three Cisco Master Specializations. Obtaining the specializations means NTT Australia has fulfilled all the requirements for delivering exceptional client benefits in Networking, Collaboration and Security.

Master Specializations are Cisco’s highest and most exclusive level of partner certification, attesting that NTT in Australia has made significant investments of time and resources to obtain expertise in the subject technologies and solutions. To receive the Cisco Master Specializations, NTT Australia passed a rigorous review of its capabilities in the design, deployment, support and management of Cisco’s architectures.

An independent third party evaluated the technical and commercial skills useful for offering solutions such as SD-WAN, Cisco Meraki, Cisco WebEx and Cisco Umbrella. NTT Australia was the first company in the region to tackle all three specializations at once and received confirmation that they had been successful within a week.

With Masters Specializations in Networking, Collaboration and Security, NTT Australia is uniquely positioned to provide sophisticated, value-added Cisco solutions through in-depth sales capabilities, technology skills and service offerings to complex business and technology projects in Australia. The specializations will also enable NTT Australia to participate in go-to-market initiatives with Cisco in Australia thanks to its unmatched sales and technical expertise.

Steve Nola, Chief Executive Officer at NTT Ltd. Australia. said, “Cisco’s networking, security and collaboration technologies are unmatched and obtaining Master Specializations means we can offer clients the best value and technical expertise available. Our talented team worked incredibly hard, so this announcement is a well-deserved recognition of their efforts and ability. These specializations place NTT Australia into an elite group of Cisco’s global partners, which will open exciting opportunities in the future.”

Oliver Tuszik, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Organisation at Cisco said, "Achieving not one but three Cisco Master Specializations is a fantastic achievement for NTT Australia. These certifications take a significant investment, hard work and dedication. We look forward to continue to work closely with NTT on delivering first-class capabilities and services to our joint customers."

NTT and Cisco have a 20+ year partnership. The companies have a number of joint initiatives, including Connected Conservation, which leverages technology to combat the threat of human poaching of endangered wildlife species.
