Hybrid work has become the norm in many workplaces, accelerating the shift from on-premises to cloud technology and creating an opportunity to reduce hardware and infrastructure costs. At the same time, teams have to be able to communicate, ideate and collaborate reliably and securely from anywhere, anytime, using platforms that can scale to support both remote and office workers.
Over the next 36 months, NTT and Cisco expect up to two million users from our joint clients to migrate from on-premises platforms to new cloud models.
A platform for elevating communication
We plan to migrate calling, meetings, and communications capabilities to Cisco’s Webex cloud platform, which offers the benefits of natively integrated public switched telephone network (PSTN) services. In addition, we’ll enhance the services we offer to our joint customers with Cisco.
This means that clients who are evolving their hybrid work infrastructure and functionality can expect to gain simpler and more cost-effective control and customization of their operations, with platforms that scale with their business needs.
With our managed services and cloud-migration expertise, combined with Cisco’s best-in class Unified Communications and Collaboration platform, we can offer enhanced cloud connectivity – and set a new standard for seamless collaboration and reliable performance with 99.99% uptime.

Comprehensive calling and contact-center capabilities
NTT and Cisco have been global strategic partners for more than 30 years. As an established Cisco Global Gold partner, we deliver cloud voice capabilities that enable clients to build a complete Webex Calling and Webex Contact Center solution.
This will significantly reduce the cost of on-premises infrastructure and operations while allowing clients to benefit from a comprehensive collaboration suite that includes meeting, calling, PSTN telephony and contact-center functionality.
At the same time, the solutions can be rolled out in multiple countries without affecting the user’s experience. We will also provide managed employee experience and managed customer experience services tailored to our clients’ business needs, enabling them to focus on strategic business priorities.
