Frost & Sullivan recognizes the Cloud Communications division of NTT Ltd. for its high growth trajectory in an intensely competitive industry. Singapore – 11 November 2020 – NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider announced today that it has won the 2020 Frost Radar™ Best Practices Award for Growth Excellence in Asia-Pacific Hosted IP Telephony and UCaaS.The award by Frost & Sullivan recognizes NTT’s Cloud Communications division for its high growth trajectory in an intensely competitive industry.
Frost & Sullivan's global team of analysts and consultants continuously researches a wide range of markets across multiple industries and locations. As part of this ongoing research, they identify companies that consistently develop new growth strategies based on a visionary understanding of the future, and thus more effectively addressing potential challenges and opportunities.
This involves extensive primary and secondary research across the entire value chain of specific products and services. Against the backdrop of this research, Frost & Sullivan recognizes NTT’s Cloud Communications division for its valuable achievements, especially amid today’s intensely competitive environment, customer volatility, economic uncertainty, and rapid technology evolution.
NTT emerged the winner amongst a list of 16 top UCaaS providers within the Asia-Pacific region.
This award follows two additional recent accolades that the Cloud Communications division has received in 2019 – they include the Microsoft Intelligent Communications Partner of the Year and the Cisco APJC Partner of the Year.

The growth environment
According to Frost & Sullivan’s award research, the Asia-Pacific hosted IP telephony and UCaaS market is on a growth trajectory. Increasing awareness of collaboration, combined with the surge of virtual communication needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic, has accelerated the demand for hosted IP telephony and UCaaS.
Countries such Australia and Japan have been especially proactive in adoption of cloud-based UC as industries gradually evolve in the digital economy, and enterprises embrace UCaaS to capitalize on the benefits of cloud.
The Asia market can be compared to America and Europe in how it deals with the digital economy.
