Enabling the future of work through digital transformation with Microsoft Teams

24 February 2023

In a recent article in the Harvard Business Review, a workplace expert wrote: “In my recent executive education teaching and conversations with senior leaders and middle managers, I’ve heard the same concerns about hybrid work come up frequently. […] The most important concerns they’re raising fall under what I call the ‘5C challenges’: communication, coordination, connection, creativity and culture.”

These challenges are being felt across the world in almost every industry, making technologies that prioritize connection crucial to the success of future work models.

This is why we’re incredibly proud to announce that we’re extending our partnership with Microsoft as part of the four-year strategic alliance we formed in December 2022.

The extension will focus on accelerating our clients’ digital transformation initiatives with Microsoft Teams as a preferred cloud-collaboration platform, leveraging our best-in-class Cloud Voice capabilities.

We will support organizations that have yet to activate the full power of Microsoft Teams by fully integrating our Cloud Voice and business-critical applications relying on voice.

We will also use our expertise in implementing Teams-certified Compliance Recording and Contact Center solutions to help clients fully embrace the possibilities with Teams.

This will help our clients focus on overcoming many of the “5C” challenges they’re experiencing.

A partnership that keeps evolving

At NTT, we’re committed to and excited about our evolving partnership with Microsoft and are working to develop integrated solutions that will enable our clients to achieve even greater success in the future. The more connected a workforce becomes, the more efficient and invested they will be – because we work better when we’re together.

I had an opportunity to catch up with Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President: Modern Work & Business Applications at Microsoft, about our partnership, and in his words:

“Microsoft’s continued partnership with NTT helps customers seamlessly navigate their technology needs so they can focus on what they do best: making decisions to grow their business.”

We’re looking forward to the future alongside our partners at Microsoft. Over the coming years, we’re developing new technology to bolster our clients’ usage of Microsoft Teams and will integrate NTT’s Cloud Voice and Teams into other business-critical applications.

Watch this space. There is much, much more to come!
