NTT Italy participates in the "Digital Solidarity" initiative promoted by the Italian Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitalization

NTT Italy supports organizations to implement digital working initiatives Milan – 24 March 2020 – NTT Ltd. in Italy, a world-leading global technology services provider, today announced that it has joined the “Digital Solidarity” project launched by the Italian Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitization. In response to COVID-19 in the country, Italy has implemented a nationwide quarantine, restricting the movement of the population except for necessity, work, and health circumstances. The “Digital Solidarity” initiative is aimed at helping citizens, professionals and companies in Italy to continue living their day-to-day lives, while adapting to the restrictions imposed by the national quarantine.

NTT in Italy is enabling local companies to access video-conferencing platforms, free of charge for 90 days. This solution allows participants to hold meetings remotely with a number of users (either colleagues in the same company or external participants), via their phones, laptops or desktops. At the end of the period, the licenses can be cancelled, at no charge.
