NTT DATA Named Consulting Partner of the year, 2024 AWS Partner Awards

NTT DATA recognised by AWS Partners in Sub-Saharan Africa as leaders in helping customers drive innovation

Johannesburg, South Africa - 4 December 2024 – NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, has been named a winner of the AWS 2024 Consulting Partner of the year award, in Sub-Saharan Africa, a regional AWS award recognising partners that play a key role helping customers drive innovation and build solutions on AWS.

AWS Regional Partner Awards recognise AWS’s Top Partners of the Year and Rising Star Partners of the Year, whose business models have embraced specialisation, innovation, and collaboration over the past year. AWS Partner Awards recognise partners whose business models continue to evolve and thrive on AWS as they work with customers. Winners were selected based on objective criteria with results audited by third-party analyst firm, Canalys.

Recently Capitec, a leading digital bank, partnered with NTT DATA to accelerate its migration to Amazon Connect, enhancing both internal IT support and customer contact services. This phased, seamless transition leveraged NTT DATA’s expertise to ensure minimal disruption and significant improvements in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Capitec has adopted Amazon Connect for their contact centre, integrating tools like Salesforce for real-time performance tracking and enabling a guided chatbot for employee IT support. This new system empowers Capitec agents to provide faster, personalised assistance, fostering enhanced customer interactions and enabling upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
