NTT DATA and OSENSE Partner to Bring Predictive AI to Elite Sports Training

Designed for the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science, the platform transforms raw video data into actionable insights to optimize athlete performance

Taipei – December 16, 2025 - NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business and technology services and OSENSE, an AI imaging technology pioneer in Taiwan, today announced the launch of an advanced AI training platform for the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science (TISS). Designed to elevate the competitive performance of Taiwan's national team athletes, the platform uses Predictive AI for technique analysis, performance monitoring and strategic training.

The platform is built on a high-performance, edge computing architecture that delivers real-time motion analysis essential for elite training. It integrates high-speed, fiber-connected cameras, GPUs and secure NAS system for advanced AI image processing and storage. This platform transforms raw video data into actionable, predictive insights, identifying optimal biomechanical postures and enabling data-driven training regimens that both enhance performance and mitigate injury risk. Several athletes participated in rigorous data testing during the platform's development to confirm positive results.
