NTT DATA is proud to host the 31st annual NTT DATA Pro-Am golf tournament and continue to build on its reputation as a premier South African golfing event. This will be our fourth year of partnering with Standard Bank to make a positive impact on women’s golf.

For us, the Pro-Am 2026 is a place where great partnerships are forged and nurtured. It’s a meeting place for top decision-makers who share our passion for people, sport, and positive change — and a platform for making a difference.

2026 marks the 13th anniversary of the NTT DATA Ladies’ Pro-Am, a testament to our and Standard Bank’s commitment to advancing women’s golf. This year’s competition will once again take place on the Montagu and Outeniqua courses, with SuperSport providing televised coverage.

Fundraising

At the intersection of purpose, passion and people, you will find our Solar Backpack Initiative.

In South Africa, many school children do not have access to electricity, and this interrupts their academic performance. Some children in rural areas have never even owned a school bag. We have partnered with Chedza to address these issues problems with their innovative Solar Backpacks.

Through the Pro-Am event, we’ve raised over R296,000 to date, enabling us to donate 250 solar backpacks to Thembalethu High School in George. This effort supports NTT DATA’s global goal of providing digital access and education opportunities to 5 million underserved young people by 2030.

The solar backpack is equipped with a solar panel that absorbs and stores sunlight during the day. It has an LED light that can last up to 7 hours, and a USB charging port for smartphones and tablets. Made from waterproof canvas material guaranteed to last up to 5 years, this backpack is helping to power the future of education.

For the past 31 years, the event has successfully brought together NTT DATA’s top business partners and the finest of South Africa and Europe’s professional golfing talent. We invite 156 amateur men and 44 amateur women players to play golf like a professional with some of the best golfers in South Africa and Europe.
