NTT strengthens cybersecurity posture of leading F&B manufacturer in Hong Kong and China to build a future-proof IT environment

Singapore – 28 January 2021 – NTT Ltd., a world leading global technology services provider, today announced the successful completion of a comprehensive assessment for a leading Japanese food and beverage (F&B) manufacturer’s operations in Hong Kong and China. The audit looked at the organization’s processes, metrics and strategies to determine its cybersecurity maturity level. Insights from the assessment were then used to formulate security initiatives to safeguard the organization against current and emerging cyberthreats.

To keep pace with the evolution of cyberthreats, the leading F&B manufacturer saw the need for the deep domain expertise of a trusted security expert to aid them in assessing their cybersecurity posture, specifically in their network and web applications.

NTT has a good understanding of the food company’s business challenges and conducted a thorough review on the organization’s cybersecurity architecture, practices, policies, and procedures to identify areas for improvement and specific action plans to close these gaps.

Following the assessment, the F&B manufacturer wanted NTT to develop a cybersecurity transformation roadmap that would drive them towards a future-proof, secure IT environment that would protect their business, employees and customers. NTT provided recommendations on best practices to mitigate potential attacks and enhance cybersecurity maturity. This set the foundation for a robust security framework that can support both long-term business needs and protect employee information.
