NTT announces new executive appointments to Asia Pacific regional leadership team

Global technology services provider makes three leadership appointments to support APAC CEO John Lombard in harnessing regional growth opportunities Singapore – 30 April 2020 – NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider, today announces the appointment of three management executives to further strengthen its regional leadership team in Asia Pacific. As part of a leadership restructuring, these executive appointments also fully align the Asia Pacific Region’s structure with the global organization in order to better leverage the tremendous growth opportunities available in Asia Pacific.

Reporting directly to Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer John Lombard with immediate effect, the appointees are:

• Wong Wen-Ming, Senior Vice President, Global Business
• Kiran Bhagwanani, Senior Vice President, Go-to-Market
• Jan Wuppermann, Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business Operations

Wong Wen-Ming, Senior Vice President, Global Business

Wen Ming, formerly the Senior Vice President of Sales, is now responsible for the global business focusing on delivering business value to global clients in the Asia region. His emphasis is to work in alignment with NTT Inc, NTT Data, docomo, NTT Advanced Technology and the other NTT group entities to offer the full-stack of digital transformation and high value services. He will align with, and support Japanese multi-national companies alongside Manabu Kahara, Asia Pacific SVP of Japanese Multinational Clients, to capitalize on the Japanese business outside of Japan.

Kiran Bhagwanani, Senior Vice President, Go-to-Market

Presently the Chief Executive Officer of India, Kiran will lead the newly formed Go-to-Market business with broad accountability for sales performance, solution practices and alliance partnership across Asia Pacific. In his role, he will drive sales and deliver end-to-end solutions to market that are strategically aligned with the organization’s sales capability and its key partner ecosystem. In addition, Kiran will continue to be accountable for the India business for at least the current financial year, with the support of a new Chief Executive Officer in India reporting to him.  

Jan Wuppermann, Senior Vice President, Strategy & Business Operations

Jan, who is instrumental in developing the Asia Pacific strategy, and in leading the ongoing integration efforts of NTT, will continue to drive the strategy process, in addition to his new responsibilities in managing the business operations and information technology functions. He will also work closely with the group organization to leverage and implement shared services and centralised functions to ensure governance and compliance, reporting, sales processes, operational excellence and enablement across the board.
