NTT DATA Named a Generative Enterprise Services Leader for the Second Consecutive Analysis by HFS Research

Company deemed a “Global enabler of connectivity-to-operationalization AI transformation” in rationale for highest possible grade

TOKYO – February 13, 2025 – NTT DATA, a global digital business and IT services leader, today announced that HFS Research has named it a “Horizon 3 Market Leader,” the highest of three possible grades, and for the second consecutive analysis, in its HFS Horizons: Generative Enterprise Services, 2025, report. HFS  Research highlighted that NTT DATA clients value its “global presence, expertise, resource availability, and partners,” and NTT DATA partners value investment in innovation and “focus on delivering value.”

HFS Research assessed 40 service providers for the report. Rankings were based on results of briefing sessions, data provision, public information, and reference checks. Service providers’ capabilities and performance were further validated through interviews with 71 active clients, 75 partners, and 130 employees.

HFS probed each provider’s ability to deliver innovation, production-scale solutions, and measurable outcomes. Horizon 3 Market Leaders are specifically characterized as capable of enabling “the Generative Enterprise by leveraging AI and GenAI to redefine how work gets done, driving co-creation with OneEcosystem partners,” “…OneOffice by leveraging AI and GenAI to improve decision-making and drive unmatched stakeholder experience,” and “…digital transformation by leveraging AI and GenAI to drive predictive functional insights.” 

According to HFS Research, as a Market Leader, NTT DATA has a demonstrated “ability to support various enterprises across the journey—from functional digital transformation through enterprise-wide modernization to creating new value through ecosystems, deep expertise across the Generative Enterprise value chain; a full-service approach across consulting, IT, and operations; a strong focus on innovation, internally and externally with partners; co-innovation with clients and partners; and proven impact and outcomes with clients around the world.”

Key NTT DATA strengths listed include a full-stack transformation portfolio and deep technical expertise, as well as global advisory and delivery services. Key to NTT DATA’s value proposition is proficiency in scaling real implementations. Proof points cited by HFS Research include investments in AI, GenAI, and robotics, investments in startups and growth companies, the aXet¹ automation platform to enhance internal productivity using GenAI, the TechHub² solutioning platform to accelerate deployment of GenAI applications at scale, and the tsuzumi³ proprietary language model.
