In December last year, something powerful happened in every region where NTT DATA operates: Our people came together with a shared purpose — to give.

The 2025 Global Giving campaign was more than a series of volunteer activities. It became a collective expression of our commitment to our values and our identity as an organization.

The campaign reached 35 countries and 80 cities. Teams across regions and business units organized a total of 96 local initiatives, each tailored to local community needs and united by the same spirit of care, inclusion and social responsibility.

From iPads to sneaker art: How we came together

Across the world, our employees came up with innovative ways to take part in the campaign. These included:

  • In China, employees donated funds to support victims of the devastating Wang Fuk Court apartment complex fire in Hong Kong last year. The funds were earmarked for disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction.
  • NTT DATA employees in Seoul, South Korea, warmed more than just hearts when they made ecofriendly hand warmers and donated them to vulnerable older adults.
  • In Mumbai, India, our teams organized a blood donation camp for employees to promote health and social responsibility.
  • We donated school uniforms, shoes, bags and stationery to orphans and children from low-income families in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
  • Our teams in New Zealand collected food and toiletries for the Wellington City Mission, a trust providing transitional housing and residential care for older people.

  • In Singapore, we hosted a Sneaker Art Jamming Workshop for children from Club Rainbow Singapore, an organization for children living with chronic illnesses.
  • Our employees in Peru established a new technology classroom at Gustavo Mohme Llona School, Lima, and held three volunteer days in Lima, Trujillo and Arequipa to collect donated toys and deliver them to educational institutions.
  • In Spain, we ran a blood donation campaign, invited NGOs to our offices to sell charity products and raise funds, and delivered gifts to groups at risk of social exclusion.
  • Our teams in Romania supported people from low-income backgrounds, especially children, and expanded the initiative by helping employees who volunteer at NGOs to collect donations for vulnerable communities.
  • In Mexico City, we donated 15 iPads to Construyendo México, an NGO, to support the development of an educational program.

Endless generosity and kindness

More than 10,450 employees showed up with heart and purpose to take part, demonstrating that when we act together, the impact is extraordinary.

The impact of our Global Giving campaign:

  • Over 990 volunteer hours dedicated to supporting local communities
  • Over 3,500 items donated, from toys and gifts to essential supplies
  • More than 1,350kg of food collected to support food banks and families in need
  • More than $156,100 raised through employee fundraising efforts
  • Nearly $12,000 contributed by NTT DATA directly

Behind each of these numbers are the lives that we touched. We estimate that we reached almost 5,000 people through these efforts.

Local initiatives for global change

The Global Giving campaign is a testament to how seemingly small and isolated acts can create significant, lasting change.

To every organizer, volunteer, donor and supporter: Thank you! Your energy, creativity and generosity turned December into a month of purpose and connection.

Together, we showed up as a global team to make a positive impact on society.
