NTT Ltd. appoints new Chief Finance Officer

Dave Sherriffs is succeded by Aki Hattori as Chief Finance Officer for NTT Ltd. London, United Kingdom – 2 July 2020 – NTT Ltd.,a leading global technology services company, today announced the appointment of Aki Hattori as new Chief Finance Officer, as Dave Sherriffs retires from the position, after 23 years with the NTT family.

Aki previously held the position of the Head of Corporate Finance and Governance at NTT Inc, as well as Vice President for the Global Business Office for NTT Holdings. In addition, he sits on the legal boards of several of the Group’s operating companies, as well as on the Audit and Risk Commitee of NTT.

Global CEO for NTT, Jason Goodall said, “While the integration of 31 companies and brand into NTT Ltd. is largely behind us, we still have a lot to deliver and I am delighted that Aki, a well respected member of the global finance community, will be leading our financial strategy and community.”

NTT is currently an 11 billion dollar business, with an ongoing focus on profitability and growth that Aki will continue to drive. The company has stated its ambition to focus on driving Managed Services and high-value services. Today these represent approximately 40% of the company’s revenue and the ambition is to grow this to over 60% of revenue, in the next five years.  

Aki is currently based in Tokyo and will be moving to London, to join the rest of the executive team at NTT.
