NTT DATA Completes Acquisition of WinWire to Scale Enterprise AI with Microsoft

LONDON – June 11, 2026 – NTT DATA, a global leader in AI, digital business and technology services, has closed its previously announced acquisition of WinWire, an award-winning Microsoft partner specializing in agentic AI, AI on Azure, data engineering and cloud-native development. Effective immediately, the acquisition accelerates NTT DATA’s enterprise AI strategy and enhances its ability to help clients operationalize AI at scale by building on the foundational capabilities required for enterprise adoption. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

WinWire expands NTT DATA’s capabilities across agentic AI, data engineering and modern applications, deepening its expertise in developing and deploying production-ready AI solutions tailored to industry needs. The acquisition builds on NTT DATA’s strategic partnership with Microsoft and reinforces its leadership as Microsoft’s Global System Integrator (GSI) Growth Champion Partner of the Year.

WinWire adds over 1,000 Azure engineers and AI specialists to complement NTT DATA's Global Business Unit for Microsoft Cloud, bringing deep expertise across Microsoft environments, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI Foundry. With a proven track record across industries and a long-standing partnership with Microsoft, this expanded talent base strengthens NTT DATA's ability to deliver industry-specific, cloud-native and agentic AI solutions, helping clients move from experimentation to enterprise-wide deployment and achieve meaningful business outcomes.
